ES - Cold War

Over the next week I will upload a page a day of an extra comic featuring Lazaro and Roy. It was done as my Comic Book Art final at RISD over the summer, and I found it appropriate to post since it's relevant to the story.

Read LEFT to RIGHT in contrast to the rest of the comic since it was drawn for an american teacher.

So, page 33 is up. I apologize for the blue lines - I'm trying to actually draw a sketch before randomly drawing up a pose, in order to hopefully practice planning pages before drawing them XD And anatomy and all that shaz I can never get right.

My school is going to be hosting a "graphic novel fair" next week, and I'm quite curious as to its outcome. A friend of mine told me that the librarian who's in charge of it is thinking of asking students to sell their own comics if they want to, and I'm very interested in this! I'm going to go talk to him tomorrow :) Wish me luck~

I always draw at obscene hours, wtf. It's fifteen minutes past two AM - stupid brain, shut off already! Dx

The transition between the first and second panel is kinda choppy, but what the hey. Basically Roy's a total social failure because he grew up locked in a black room and only knows how to interact with others from his experiences with Yadot. So, in his panic at calming down a hysterical kid, he tries his best to comfort Lazaro.

And spouts out a cheesy line in the process. Oh god brain, why?!

Page 1 to 31 have been posted up, the dates on each page are what day and time I completed them on Tegaki.

This is an experiment for me - I've never used Smackjeeves before, let alone any other comic-oriented site, so I'm pretty new to the whole format thing. I'll get used to it though~!

The comic is updated frequently per week :) I don't have a fixed update schedule, but I usually draw a bunch of pages per day and upload 'em all in one big bulk xD Just check back every Sunday, there should be new pages then.
